As a teenager Jeremiah battled with addiction and over consumption of harmful substances. Addiction claimed the life of one of his best friends in High School! This song has a hidden message of what helped him overcome. Filled with stunning steel guitar riffs by the one and only Scotty Sanders, Electric guitar rushes by Russell Broom (Jann Arden), and heart thumping Bass Guitar by the band leader for Brett Kissel, Justin Kudding.
Born and raised on a farm in La Crete, Alberta, Jeremiah grew up singing.
At 16 years old his parents lost the family farm and their small sawmill. Being the oldest, he made the decision to move away from home to work at a logging camp to help provide. Missing everything he knew, he turned to music helped him get through.
He spent his teens and early twenties working in remote forestry camps, sleeping in white canvas tents, cooking meals over the fire. Transportation was by helicopter, or Army Amphibious(all terrain floating) vehicles. He played his guitar and wrote songs around the campfire at night.
Today, he tours with his family band, and works forestry part time.
